Sausage rolls are, for many children, an all-time favorite for birthdays, celebrations, lunchboxes, or outings. With this recipe, you can bake your own sausage rolls, with whole wheat flour added to the dough, giving both a deep, rounded flavor and a crispy crumb.
This recipe does not meet the whole grain label requirements, but it is a way to include more whole grains in your everyday diet.

  • 500 g whole-grain labelled wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 50 g butter
  • 4,5 dl milk
  • 20 g yeast
  • 12 sausages

  • Place half a sausage on each triangle and roll them up toward the tip.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
