Smoked salmon with horseradish cream

Ingredients 

Horseradish cream

  • 1 dl Skyr or plain quark
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise Fat-reduced
  • 1-3 tsp Grated horseradish
  • Salt and pepper

Smoked salmon

  • 100 g sliced smoked salmon

Side dish

  • 4 slices whole grain rye bread 200 g
  • 1 bunch dill

Instructions 

Horseradish cream

  • Stir the skyr with mayonnaise and freshly grated horseradish. Season the cream with salt, pepper, and optionally more horseradish.

Smoked salmon

  • Cut the salmon into 8 or 16 pieces and roll them up.

Presentation

  • Toast the rye bread on both sides, and cut it in half or quarters. Top the bread with horseradish cream and arrange the salmon on top. Garnish with dill and season with salt and pepper.
