Smoothie with oats and ginger

This recipe doesn't meet the whole grain logo requirements, but it's an opportunity to incorporate more whole grains into your daily routine.

Ingredients 

  • 150 g skyr
  • 75 g milk
  • 75 g oats You can use gluten-free oats if preferred.
  • 50 g frozen raspberries
  • 100 g banana
  • 10 g ginger the size of an olive
  • 4 ice cubes
  • Raspberries (fresh) for topping
  • Blueberries (fresh) for topping

Instructions 

  • Bring the raspberries to a boil and let them cool down again.
  • Peel and grate the ginger, and cut the banana into smaller pieces.
  • Blend alle ingredienserne i en blender eller med en stavblender.
  • Garnish with oats and fresh berries.

Tip

  • If you want your smoothie a bit thicker, let it sit for 5 minutes. The oats will help thicken it. If you can't tolerate gluten, this smoothie can easily be made with gluten-free oats.
