
Smoothie with oats and ginger
This recipe doesn't meet the whole grain logo requirements, but it's an opportunity to incorporate more whole grains into your daily routine.
Ingredients
- 150 g skyr
- 75 g milk
- 75 g oats You can use gluten-free oats if preferred.
- 50 g frozen raspberries
- 100 g banana
- 10 g ginger the size of an olive
- 4 ice cubes
- Raspberries (fresh) for topping
- Blueberries (fresh) for topping
Instructions
- Bring the raspberries to a boil and let them cool down again.
- Peel and grate the ginger, and cut the banana into smaller pieces.
- Blend alle ingredienserne i en blender eller med en stavblender.
- Garnish with oats and fresh berries.
Tip
- If you want your smoothie a bit thicker, let it sit for 5 minutes. The oats will help thicken it. If you can't tolerate gluten, this smoothie can easily be made with gluten-free oats.
